Why a Light While You Sleep Can Be Bad for Your Health

Researchers from Northwestern University released data from a study that showed even moderate amounts of light exposure at night could have a negative impact on your health.1 In a press release, researchers report that up to 40% of individuals sleep with a light on, which could be a bedside lamp or the television.

However, this estimation does not appear to include the ambient light that comes through your window from streetlamps and other outdoor lighting. This means that many more may be affected by the results of this study.

Exposure to light at night is a relatively recent phenomenon after the invention of electric lighting. Until then, people commonly went to bed at sunset and got up when the sun rose. Scientists have been studying the alterations in your sleep patterns as a result of present-day night lighting that can have a significant impact on your health.

For many years it was widely accepted that sleep was a mystery and potentially little more than a waste of time.2 Modern research has shed more light on the matter and demonstrated that sleep is a crucial component to your healthy lifestyle.3

A negative impact on sleep quality or quantity can have far-reaching consequences, affecting a wide variety of systems from your mood, creativity and brain detoxification4,5,6 to DNA expression and dementia.7,8 Sleep deprivation slows your reaction time and increases your risk for accidents.9 Getting less than six hours of sleep leaves you cognitively impaired.

Even a single night of sleeping only four to six hours can impact your ability to think clearly the next day. In 2021, the National Highway and Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) reported that drowsy driving causes 100,000 car crashes each year and kills 1,500 people.10

As noted by the featured study, sleeping in a room with even a small amount of light can negatively impact your metabolism and overall health.11 If you combine nighttime light exposure with an inadequate amount of sleep, you’ll be exhausted as your body struggles to maintain homeostasis.

Fortunately there is an easy and inexpensive solution. For the lights you keep on after sunset you can replace them with red light bulbs as red light does not suppress melatonin. Ideally the bulbs should not have any flicker. I found some on Amazon that are relatively inexpensive and these are the only bulbs I use in my home after sunset.

Data Show Sleeping With a Light Damages Health

Researchers found that just one night of sleeping with light in your room can launch a domino effect, affecting your level of melatonin, insulin resistance, heart rate and heart rate variability.12 The research was published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS).13

The team studied 20 healthy people in their 20s and tracked the impact light had on their biological clock, melatonin levels and metabolism. The participants spent two nights in a sleep lab. During the first night, each one slept in a darkened room. On the second night, some slept in a room with a dim overhead light, which simulated streetlights coming through a window or a dark cloudy day.14

Data, including brain waves, heart rate, EKGs and melatonin levels, were collected throughout the night from each of the participants with as little interference as possible. The researchers used long IV tubes to collect blood samples, so the participants were not awakened.

Study researcher Dr. Phyllis Zee, director of the Center for Circadian and Sleep Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, told CNN:15

“We recorded the brainwaves and could tell what sleep stage the person was in. We recorded their breathing, their heart rate, their EKG, and we also drew blood from them to measure melatonin levels while they were sleeping.”

Results of the study showed that the participants’ heart rate rose higher than expected during the night when they were exposed to light. Another researcher, Dr. Daniela Grimaldi, commented in a press release:16

“Even though you are asleep, your autonomic nervous system is activated. That’s bad. Usually, your heart rate together with other cardiovascular parameters is lower at night and higher during the day.”

Similarly, the data showed that the participants who slept in a lit room had higher insulin resistance the morning after as the body secreted a higher amount of insulin to normalize glucose.17 Past research had shown that people who slept exposed to light at night were more overweight and obese. The current study may help explain how exposure to light impacts your ability to regulate glucose.

Despite the consistent concrete objective data, the participants subjectively were unaware of the changes. The researchers tested sleeping in moderate light and dim light over a single night. They discovered that moderate exposure increased the alert state, in which the participants experienced increased heart rate and force of contractions.

“These findings are important, particularly for those living in modern societies where exposure to indoor and outdoor nighttime light is increasingly widespread,” Zee said. “If you’re able to see things really well, it’s probably too light.”18

Light Controls Your Circadian Pacemaker

Your body runs on an internal clock known as your circadian rhythm. When this clock is messed up, your cells are exposed to an unusual amount of stress. Many of the health conditions attributed to the biannual time change are because these internal clocks are not easily reprogrammed and are synchronized to a 24-hour cycle of light and dark.19

Researchers have demonstrated that when you are exposed to light at night, a time when your body expects it to be dark, physiological changes happen. Another system responsible for regulating your internal clock is located in the hypothalamus. It is called the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) and it functions through hormones and chemical signals that regulate your sleep-wake cycle.

This influences the regulation of other physiological activities, which include your core body temperature, neuroendocrine function, memory and psychomotor activity.20 Based on signals of light and darkness, your SCN tells your pineal gland when it’s time to secrete melatonin — promoting sleep — and when to turn it off.

Nighttime light exposure inhibits the secretion of melatonin, which can cause circadian disruptions that play a role in developing cancer.21 In fact, it’s been shown that higher exposure to outdoor light at night may increase the risk of postmenopausal breast cancer,22 and emerging evidence suggests light at night may also increase the risk of thyroid cancer.23

To maintain a healthy master circadian clock, it’s important to get bright light exposure during the day.24 Yet, many indoor environments simply don’t have enough intense light to anchor your circadian rhythm, so it’s important to get outside for at least 30 minutes in the morning or mid-day.

In other words, just going outside for half an hour at lunch could give you most of the anchoring light you need to maintain a healthy circadian rhythm. On the other side of the day, you need to avoid bright artificial lighting after sunset.25 This can lower melatonin production and affects sleep quality. Using room light during your usual hours of sleep will suppress melatonin by more than 50%.

Importance of Melatonin

Melatonin is best known as a natural sleep regulator that functions alongside your circadian clock. Yet, melatonin also has many other important functions in the body.26 Notably, it plays an important role in cancer prevention27 and may help prevent autoimmune diseases such as Type 1 diabetes and inflammatory bowel disease.28

Melatonin is versatile and a powerful antioxidant that helps increase glutathione,29,30 which plays a significant role in detoxification. It also has anticonvulsant and antiexcitotoxic properties,31 and is a potent antioxidant32,33 with the rare ability to enter your mitochondria,34 where it helps prevent mitochondrial impairment, energy failure and the death of mitochondria damaged by oxidation.35

It’s shown to play a role in viral and bacterial infections36 and as recently as June 2020, researchers suggested it could be an important adjunct to COVID-19 treatment.37 In late 2021,38 a commentary discussed an October 2021 study39 that found melatonin significantly lowered mortality from COVID-19 when given to severely infected patients.

But this wasn’t the first time that melatonin has been highlighted for the ability to prevent and treat sepsis. A 2010 paper40 noted that it helps prevent and reverse septic shock symptoms and a 2014 study41 showed that melatonin accumulates in the mitochondria and has both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity that could be useful in the treatment of sepsis. It later became part of critical care physician Dr. Paul Marik’s protocol for the treatment of sepsis.42

Vitamin D is also involved in the pathways that produce melatonin in the pineal gland.43,44 An evaluation of clinical trials and correlation studies have shown that “Vitamin D has both a direct and indirect role in the regulation of sleep.”45

Tips to Reduce Light at Night

Researchers have also addressed the issue of light at night as it affected outcomes from COVID-19. They found that people who were exposed to ambient light at night had an increased risk of infection, including COVID. They found a strong connection in New York and Connecticut in cities with the highest intensity of light at night. Lead scientist Yong Zhu, Ph.D., from Yale School of Public Health, commented in a press release:46

“These findings suggest that repeated and prolonged exposure to artificial nighttime light could play a role in COVID-19 incidence. We are just beginning to understand the role of circadian rhythms on health, and this is further evidence that a connection exists.”

The current study is one in a long list that has demonstrated the negative effects of sleeping even in a dimly lit room.47,48,49,50,51,52 Consider making these changes to lower your nighttime light exposure:53

Do not turn on the lights if you get up at night
Older adults who need light at night to navigate to the bathroom can consider using a dim light that is located close to the floor
Avoid using blue or white light at night, and use amber or red/orange light instead, as it’s less stimulating to your brain
Use a nighttime setting on your electrical devices after sunset as this blocks blue light, which shuts off your melatonin production
If you need an alarm clock, consider covering the clock with blackout material to block the light or set it outside your bedroom so you must get up to shut it off
Avoid watching television before bed as the light delays production of melatonin and affects sleep quality
Consider blackout shades or an eye mask when you can’t control outdoor light shining in your bedroom

There’s a growing body of evidence that shows a lack of sleep increases your cardiovascular risk. A study published in the European Heart Journal Digital Health1 found it’s not just the amount of sleep you get, but also the time you go to bed that makes a difference in your health.2

In the short-term, sleep deprivation can affect your judgment, ability to learn and mood, and increase your risk of an accident or injury.3 How much sleep you need is dependent on your age.4 Adults ages 18 and older benefit from seven to nine hours of uninterrupted sleep each night.

In 2016, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention5 revealed that 1 in 3 adults doesn’t get enough sleep. In reviewing the data, they found that sleep duration varied between states with a lower portion of adults who lived in states in the southeastern region of the U.S. and the Appalachian Mountains getting seven hours of sleep.

The reasons people don’t get enough sleep vary.6 According to the International Classification of Sleep Disorders there are approximately 90 distinct sleep conditions. Many have symptoms of daytime sleepiness, difficulty going to sleep or staying asleep, or abnormal sensations or movements that happen during sleep.

The importance of good sleep is a cornerstone of well-being that is recognized by almost all health professionals. The current study adds to the information of how integral sleep is to good health.

 

Going to Sleep at 10 P.M. May Help Protect Your Heart

 

 

One of the scientists in the featured study7 explained that the impact bedtime has on your health may be related to the body’s 24-hour internal clock. He noted that although the data could not be linked to causation, it did suggest that the time you go to bed may disrupt your circadian rhythm and cause adverse consequences on your heart health.

Past research has looked at and found a link between sleep duration and heart disease. However, the relationship between what time an individual goes to bed and cardiovascular disease has not been the subject of much study.8

Data were collected from 103,712 U.K. participants over seven days9 from an accelerometer. The researchers then excluded over 15,000 people from the study as the data supplied was either low quality or incomplete. They also excluded participants who had been diagnosed with heart disease, sleep apnea or insomnia before or during data collection.

In the end, the researchers used a sample of 88,026 people. The average age of the individuals was 61 years and 58% of the participants were women. The participants were followed over the next 5.7 years, during which the researchers measured sleep times as they were reported before 10 p.m., between 10 p.m. and 10:59 p.m., 11 p.m. to 12 p.m. or at midnight or later.

The researchers controlled for age and gender while analyzing the data and found that those who went to sleep between 10 p.m. and 10:59 p.m. had the lowest incidence of cardiovascular disease. The results showed those who went to sleep at midnight or later experienced a 25% higher risk of heart disease when compared to those who went to bed between 10 p.m. and 10:59 p.m.

Interestingly, the risk for those who fell asleep before 10 p.m. was similar at 24%. Those who went to bed consistently between 11 p.m. and midnight had a 12% greater risk for heart disease. After further analysis of the association with gender, the researchers found there was a stronger risk in women than in men. One of the researchers, David Plans, Ph.D., commented in a press release:

“Our study indicates that the optimum time to go to sleep is at a specific point in the body’s 24-hour cycle and deviations may be detrimental to health. The riskiest time was after midnight, potentially because it may reduce the likelihood of seeing morning light, which resets the body clock.

While the findings do not show causality, sleep timing has emerged as a potential cardiac risk factor — independent of other risk factors and sleep characteristics. If our findings are confirmed in other studies, sleep timing and basic sleep hygiene could be a low-cost public health target for lowering risk of heart disease.”

 

Lack of Sleep Is Associated With Cardiac Morbidity

 

According to the World Health Organization, ischemic heart disease and stroke were the top two global causes of death in 2019.10 Although there have been dramatic declines in CVDs, conditions in this category continue to remain major causes of loss of health and life.11

The pervasive nature of sleep deprivation contributes to the rising incidence of heart disease and may have an underlying association with an increase in cardiovascular morbidity and mortality.12,13

One systematic review of the literature published in the Journal of the American Heart Association14 included 74 studies with 3,340,684 participants. The data showed that when there was a divergence from the recommended seven to eight hours of sleep there was a higher risk of mortality and other cardiovascular events. The researchers believe that more sleep may have a higher association with adverse outcomes compared to shorter sleep duration.

A 2019 paper15 published in Circulation discussed the risks of cardiovascular events or death in people who sleep too little or too much. The writer notes that sleeping too little has long been associated with high blood pressure, obesity and diabetes.

Another study16 evaluated the risks associated with too much or too little sleep in people with known coronary artery disease. They enrolled 2,846 patients who were followed for a median of 2.8 years. The researchers found sleeping both too long and too short were independently associated with higher mortality from heart disease.

 

Fragmented Sleep Linked to Atherosclerosis and Inflammation

 

In addition to the time of night you go to sleep and the number of hours you sleep, quality of sleep is also important for your cardiovascular health.

Fragmented sleep is associated with atherosclerosis,17 a buildup of fatty plaque in the arteries often called “clogged” or “hardened” arteries that can result in fatal heart disease.18 Cardiovascular disease kills 12,000 Americans a week,19 which is far more than the average reported COVID-19 toll of 8,279 people each week in 2021 as reported by the CDC.20

In June 2020, U.C. Berkeley sleep scientists published an article in PLOS Biology that began to clarify some of the mechanisms through which fragmented sleep can cause atherosclerosis.21

Fragmented sleep is characterized by waking up during the night, having difficulty going back to sleep and a sense of not being rested when you wake in the morning. Several causes of fragmented sleep can range from stress and anxiety to excessive caffeine and alcohol consumption. It is also associated with an assortment of illnesses.22

Sleep specialists from UC Berkeley studied more than 1,600 participants.23 They were able to separate the effect of fragmented sleep on atherosclerosis from other common contributors such as sex, ethnicity, body mass index, age, smoking status, blood pressure and other lifestyle factors.

Senior study scientist Matthew Walker, a UC Berkeley professor of psychology and neuroscience, commented on the results:24

“We’ve discovered that fragmented sleep is associated with a unique pathway — chronic circulating inflammation throughout the bloodstream — which, in turn, is linked to higher amounts of plaques in coronary arteries.”

According to Walker, “This link between fragmented sleep and chronic inflammation may not be limited to heart disease, but could include mental health and neurological disorders, such as major depression and Alzheimer’s disease.”25

Sleep Deprivation Affects More Than Your Heart

 

Insufficient sleep is linked to other significant health problems, including:

Increased risk of obesity and Type 2 diabetes — A scientific review article26 published in 2017 noted “difficulty initiating sleep increased the risk of Type 2 diabetes by 55%, while difficulty maintaining sleep increased its risk” by a whopping 74%.
Increased risk of neurological problems — These may range from depression27 to dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.28 Your blood-brain barrier becomes more permeable with age, allowing more toxins to enter.29 This, in conjunction with reduced efficiency of the glymphatic system due to lack of sleep,30 allows for more rapid damage to occur in your brain and is thought to play a significant role in the development of Alzheimer’s.
Decreased immune function — Research31 suggests deep sleep strengthens immunological memories of previously encountered pathogens. In this way, your immune system can mount a faster and more effective response when an antigen is encountered a second time.

Increased risk of cancer — Tumors grow two to three times faster in laboratory animals with severe sleep dysfunctions.32 The primary mechanism thought to be responsible for this effect is disrupted melatonin production, a hormone with both antioxidant and anticancer activity.33

Melatonin both inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells and triggers cancer cell apoptosis (self-destruction). It also interferes with the new blood supply tumors require for their rapid growth (angiogenesis).

Increased risk of osteoporosis — Women sleeping five hours or less each night had significantly lower bone mineral density measurements.34
Increased risk of pain and pain-related conditions — Total sleep deprivation increased pain sensitivity and lowered pain threshold in healthy adults.35 Chronic sleep deprivation and fatigue are strong predictors for the onset of chronic widespread pain in a population that was free from pain at the onset of the study.36
Increased susceptibility to stomach ulcers — Sleep disturbances raise the level of proinflammatory cytokines, which is associated with gastrointestinal diseases, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal cancer.37
Impaired sexual function — Hormonal changes linked to sleep deprivation affects testosterone levels and sexual function in men and women.38
Premature aging — One study found statistically significant differences in the quality of skin as measured by the SCINEXA skin aging scoring system and the participant’s assessment of their own skin.39
Increased risk of dying from any cause — Compared to people without insomnia, the adjusted hazard ratio for all-cause mortality among those with chronic insomnia was three times higher.40
Impaired regulation of emotions — There is a bidirectional relationship between emotion and sleep. Quality sleep is essential to cope with emotional stress, and stress can result in sleep disturbances.41 Healthy sleep helps repair brain activity and integrity of the prefrontal cortex and amygdala connections, which are important in emotion regulation.
Increased risk of mental health conditions — Chronic sleep problems affect up to 80% of people with mental health conditions, especially those with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).42
Impaired memory and reduced ability to learn — Memory consolidation occurs during sleep. Data suggest that insufficient or excessive sleep can affect this process and affect other cognitive processes.43
Reduced productivity, performance and creativity.44
Slowed reaction time — Getting less than six hours of sleep leaves you cognitively impaired and increases your risk of accidents. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, in 2017 there were an estimated 91,000 police-reported crashes, 50,000 people injured and 800 deaths from drowsy driving-related crashes.45

Gut bacteria — One study46 recruited participants to measure the effect sleep deprivation may have on gut bacteria. They found a positive correlation between gut microbiome diversity and a cytokine known to affect sleep quality. Additionally, they found several bacteria in the gut were negatively correlated with sleep and concluded “Our findings initiate linkages between gut microbiome composition, sleep physiology, the immune system and cognition.”

It doesn’t interest me what planets are squaring your moon.

I want to know if you have touched the centre of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life’s betrayals or have become shrivelled and closed from fear of further pain.

I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it, or fade it, or fix it.

I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own; if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic, remember the limitations of being human.

Under mass formation psychosis, a population enters a hypnotic-type trance that makes them willing to sacrifice anything, including their lives and their freedom. That’s what’s happening right now

In the video above, Dr. Robert Malone, inventor of the mRNA and DNA vaccine core platform technology,1 reviews a theory professor Mattias Desmet, a Belgian psychologist and statistician, believes explains the absurd and irrational behavior we’re now seeing worldwide with regard to the COVID pandemic and its countermeasures.

He calls this phenomenon “mass formation psychosis,” a type of crowd hypnosis that results in literally converting a large segment of the population into psychosis. Mass formation psychosis is the explanation for how the Germans accepted the atrocities by the Nazi party in the 1930s, and it’s the explanation for why so many around the world support medical apartheid and the destruction of the unvaccinated now.

It’s so irrational and inhumane, many have wondered how we got here. As it turns out, the psychology of totalitarianism has been studied for decades, and the whole thing is in fact explainable as a psychiatric phenomenon that arises when certain conditions exist in a society.

The Four Base Conditions for ‘Mass Formation’

The four central conditions that need to exist in order for mass formation psychosis to take root are:

Lack of social bonding — Social isolation was a widespread problem long before the pandemic. In one survey, 25% of respondents said they didn’t have a single close friend. The COVID lockdowns also contributed and worsened already existing isolation. We were all told that any contact with others, including members of our own family, could be a death sentence.

Seeing life as meaningless, purposelessness and senseless, and/or being faced with persistent circumstances that don’t make rational sense — Desmet cites research showing that half of all adults feel their jobs are completely meaningless, providing no value to either themselves or others.

In another poll, done in 2012, 63% of respondents said they were “sleepwalking” through their workdays, putting no passion into their work whatsoever. So, condition No. 2 for mass formation hypnosis was also fulfilled, even before the pandemic hit.

Events that occurred in late 2019 and early 2020, such as the many questions surrounding the presidential election and the initial COVID lockdowns, added fuel to the widespread confusion and uncertainty, resulting in the next condition: free-floating anxiety.

Widespread free-floating anxiety and free-floating discontent — Free-floating anxiety refers to anxiety that has no apparent or distinct cause. Judging by the popularity of antidepressants and other psychiatric drugs, condition No. 3 was also fulfilled long before the pandemic, but additional fuel was piled on just before the pandemic.

Many felt, and still feel, that “things just aren’t right.” Through 2020, it became increasingly apparent to many that most if not all of the systems we depend on are broken, and likely broken beyond repair, including our medical system, our voting system and our judicial system.

Widespread free-floating frustration and aggression — This tends to naturally follow the previous three. Here, again, the frustration and aggression have no discernible cause.

How Mass Formation Allows Totalitarianism to Rise

When these four conditions are fulfilled by a large enough portion of society, they are ripe for the picking to convert to a psychosis, being totally out of touch with reality, which in turn leads to the rise of totalitarianism. As explained by Malone, when the pandemic broke out, people around the world became obsessed with one thing: the virus.

People everywhere thought about, read about and talked about the virus almost exclusively to everything else. This singular focus, this obsession, having the base conditions for mass formation already firmly in place, allowed for large portions of the population to enter into a hypnotic-like state.

In that hypnotic-like state (it’s very similar to conventional hypnotism but with minor differences), people lose their ability to have rational thought and judgment.

As noted by Malone, there is evidence that suggests at least parts of this psychological operation were done intentionally, by “some entity that has financial benefit or power to gain from doing this, which gets to the point of global totalitarianism.” Now, once a large portion of a society is hyper-focused on and fused in their joint discontent and anxiety, all a leader or leaders need to do to convince many that totalitarian control and loss of their freedom is best for them is to:

a) Present a story in which the cause of the anxiety is identified, and then

b) Offer a strategy for neutralizing that cause

Social Bonding Is Key

By accepting and participating in whatever that strategy is, people with free-floating anxiety feel equipped with the means to control their anxiety and avoid panic. They also feel a strong bond with others, because they’ve all identified the same nemesis. As explained by Desmet in the Peak Prosperity interview below:

“Because many people participate in the same strategy to deal with the object of anxiety, a new kind of social bond emerges a new kind of solidarity. So, people feel connected again in a new way. And that’s actually the most crucial thing.

If you look at the corona crisis and listen to the mainstream narrative, you will hear that everything is about solidarity. You have to participate, you have to accept the vaccine. You have to respect social distancing, because if you don’t, you lack citizenship, you show no solidarity. That’s the most crucial thing, always, in mass formation.

That’s the real reason why people buy into the story, even if it is utterly absurd. It’s not because they believe in the narrative. It is because the narrative leads to a new social bond. That’s the real reason.

There’s [also another] advantage. All the frustration and aggression can be directed at an object. And that object is the people who, for one reason or another, do not want to participate in the mass formation …

So, you have this very strange situation where people start from a very negative and divisive mental state; [they have a] lack of social bond, lack of meaning-making, free floating anxiety and a lot of frustration and aggression.

They switch from this very highly aversive mental state to a symptomatic positive state where they feel connected. Their life makes sense again through this heroic struggle with the object of anxiety … That’s why people continue to believe in the narrative, even if it is utterly absurd.”

Mass Formation Psychosis Is a Self-Destructive Condition

The crazy thing is that the story can be an obvious lie, yet those under this hypnotic spell will believe it. The remedy can be utterly absurd, yet they’ll obey. This is how totalitarianism is allowed to rise.

Of course, there must always be a common enemy that must be obliterated — the “cause” for the peoples’ fear and anxiety — and under totalitarian rule, that enemy is anyone who is not spellbound. The dissenters are the enemy. In 2021, the unmasked and unvaccinated are the enemy.

“Mass formation psychosis is a very dangerous condition, both for those under its spell and those who aren’t, because the ‘mental intoxication’ that results makes people willing to do things that are clearly wrong and utterly immoral, up to and including voluntarily killing their own families and themselves, if told it’s for the greater good.
If everyone would just get the experimental jab, COVID would vanish and everyone could go back to feeling safe again. That’s the narrative. It makes no sense, it’s irrational, inhumane and unscientific, but those who are in mass formation psychosis believe it’s just that simple, and that’s why some are able to wish death on the unmasked and/or unvaccinated.”

So, as noted by Malone, “If it seems to you that the rest of the world has gone mad, the truth is, they have.” A problem far greater than any virus now is mass formation itself.

It’s a very dangerous condition, both for those under its spell and those who aren’t, because the “mental intoxication” that results makes people willing to do things that are clearly wrong and utterly immoral, up to and including voluntarily killing their own families and themselves, if told it’s for the greater good. In short, masses of people become profoundly gullible and self-destructive, which is a frightening combination.

As noted by Desmet, in a dictatorship, people comply because they fear the dictator. In a totalitarian regime, however, mass formation psychosis is at work, and this gives the regime extreme power over the individual, as the people, when in this hypnotic trance, voluntarily destroy their own families, their lives and themselves, along with the stated enemy.

Is Totalitarianism Unavoidable?

Malone says that in his conversations with Desmet, Desmet has said he believes the mass formation psychosis is so widespread at this point that global totalitarianism may be unavoidable. He believes it’ll take over, as we’re seeing in a number of countries already. So, what, if anything, can we do? A summary of suggestions are as follows:

  • Continue providing true and accurate information to counter the false narrative. Some who aren’t yet fully hypnotized may still be routed back to sanity. Speaking out can also help to limit the atrocities the totalitarian regime is emboldened to implement, because in totalitarianism, atrocities and crimes against humanity increase as dissent decreases.
  • Substitute fear of the virus narratives with narratives that highlight an even greater fear — fear of totalitarianism. “Totalitarianism is a bigger boogeyman than the virus is,” Malone says. “Losing control to Bill Gates, the World Economic Forum, BlackRock and Vanguard is a bigger threat than SARS-CoV-2 is for you and your children, by far.”
    Desmet has tested this theory, and found you CAN break the hypnotic focus on COVID if you’re able to refocus their attention on something that’s of even greater concern to them.
  • Join with other dissenters into larger groups. This gives the larger majority who aren’t fully hypnotized but too fearful to go against the grain an alternative to going along with the totalitarians.
  • Build parallel structures within your local communities. Think globally, act locally. Start developing parallel structures to heal the four underlying conditions that allowed mass formation to occur in the first place.

A parallel structure is any kind of business, organization, technology, movement or creative pursuit that fits within a totalitarian society while being morally outside of it. Once enough parallel structures are created, a parallel culture is born that functions as a sanctuary of sanity within the totalitarian world.

 

The Gravity of Our Situation

As noted by Desmet, since self-destructiveness is built into the totalitarian system from the ground up, totalitarian regimes cannot be sustained forever. They fall apart as they’re destroyed from within. That’s the good news.

The bad news is it can be hell while it lasts, as totalitarianism built on mass formation almost always leads to heinous atrocities being committed in the name of doing good. There are usually few survivors at the end.

That said, Desmet believes this new global totalitarianism is more unstable than regional dictator-led totalitarian systems, so it may self-destruct faster. He has just finished writing a book, “The Psychology of Totalitarianism,” which is expected to be published in January 2022.

The “Planet Lockdown Part 2” interview above features finance guru Catherine Austin Fitts, founder of the Solari Report. (To get a taste of what you’ll find in the Solaris Report, you can download this previous 2020 issue.) You many think you previously saw this but most likely it was Part 1.

Fitts has spent decades exposing corruption and fraud, both within the banking industry and government, and corruption and fraud are driving forces in the COVID pandemic as well. She got her start on Wall Street, where she had a successful career for over a decade.

In 1989, she became the assistant secretary of Housing and Urban Development under the Bush administration. After 18 months, she resigned, but while there, she discovered how technology could make the financing of neighborhoods more productive.

“Government money was destroying neighborhoods, not helping them,” she says, but private entrepreneurs could take this new technology and finance privately. To that end, Fitts started an investment bank and broker dealer named Hamilton Securities Group.

A couple of years later, they were hired by the federal housing administration to be the lead financial adviser, which gave Fitts access to “incredibly rich databases about how the real estate, land and a lot of the mortgage financing and home building works in America’s 3,100 counties.” Fitts continues:

“Then I entered a period where I litigated with the federal government for 11 years. The Department of Justice seized all the databases and all the software tools, and I litigated with the federal government. That’s [what] forced me to really dive into how the control systems were working.

 

When I was in Wall Street, I saw how the financial control systems worked, but since so much is rigged through the central bank and through government, it gave me a chance to really see how government worked on the covert side, and how that related to Wall Street and Washington.”

Our Retirement Funds Have Been Looted

In 1998, trillions of dollars started to get sucked out of the U.S. government, Fitts says. In essence, it was “a coup d’etat by financial means.” She realized then the extent to which our government was siphoning — stealing — the money. “They were stealing everybody’s retirement,” Fitts says.

“Everybody’s going to retire in 20 or 30 years, but they were going to steal the money up front. So, by the time we got to where we are now, the money would be gone and they could turn to everybody and say, ‘Well, we can’t really afford your retirement.’”

On Wall Street, you have markets and monetary policy run by the central banks, and then you have the electorate, which influences fiscal policy and the government. So, it’s a dual pillar system. Markets are managed centrally. So, central banks, which control monetary policy, can simply print money, and the military then makes sure the money is taken up, which keeps everything liquid. Fitts explains:

“The economic equation is: Can you make more money from printing than you have to spend on the military and making the system go? I’ll give you an example. In the 1980s, we had a period of tremendous monetary expansion. In the last year of the decade, in ‘89, there was a huge fight in the Doolan partnership [Furey, Doolan & Abell LLP] about how much money should be paid to the traders for bonuses.

I had a wonderful partner who did a study, showing that … if instead of having traders in the seats, we’d had chimpanzees, we would’ve made more money. It was very interesting because you’d go out to the Hamptons on the weekends and you’d … hear everybody talking about making fantastic amounts of money because they were brilliant and geniuses and smart and clever.

But it wasn’t [because of their smarts]. It was just simply the monetary policy floating the boats … A lot of the money comes from economic warfare. So, [when] you pump up the dollar, you’re moving money out of the U.S. government. As we’re coming through this big change of globalization, you loan massive amounts of dollars.

And then all of a sudden you pull all the loans. You throw them into a dead-end trap. You pull the money and then they get a crash. Now your dollar is high. So, you go and buy up everything on the cheap.

The governance structure that existed before the financial coup was basically: You have the central banks running monetary policy, and then you have the sovereign government running fiscal policy. The citizens pay taxes to the sovereign government, and they elect representatives who have something say about how that fiscal money gets [divided] up.

Then you have private central bankers and private interests who control monetary policy and are relatively independent of the fiscal. What we’ve seen [is that] … the less the government has information sovereignty and financial sovereignty, the more dependent it is on the central bankers.

So, as the government have levered up with debt and lost their informational and financial sovereignty — part of this is what’s happened with digital technology — the central bankers have gotten more and more powerful.

Since fiscal [year] 1998, we’ve had what I call the financial coup d’etat. So, in the United States, up to $100 trillion have been moved out. Dr. Skidmore and I did a study, and as of 2015, the number was $21 trillion …

At that exact time, we had $20 trillion of debt. So, there was more money disappearing than there was debt. [So, they were taking that] money out. That’s the financial coup. Now that the money is out, you can collapse the government.”

 

Why Central Bankers Are Intentionally Collapsing Government

Importantly, Fitts stresses that government doesn’t have the power to make illegal transactions. The central banks — which are privately owned — must be involved in order for that to occur. The private banks “are doing it for them,” Fitts explains.

“So, we’ve now reached the point where the central banks are moving in and basically taking control of fiscal policy as well,” she says. “And this is why there’s such a big debate about election fraud.

Essentially the computer systems are controls for the elections, and essentially, the citizens or taxpayers have lost any say. If you look at polls over the last 10 years, the citizens want the country to go to the right, and Congress votes to go to the left. That’s because increasingly these people are controlled and dependent on what the central bankers want.

There’s a great interview that Chuck Schumer, the senator from New York did at the beginning of the Trump administration, where he basically said that if Trump thinks he’s going to contradict or defy the CIA, he’s dreaming; they have 50 ways from Sunday to get you. And traditionally, if you look at the U.S. intelligence agencies, they basically worked for the central bankers.

So, what’s happening is we’re watching a reengineering of this fiscal line. You’re basically looking at the central bankers moving to put into place a system that will allow them to extract tax without representation. That’s the trick, financially. How do you force the citizens to pay taxes with no representation?

Of course, they’re using the pandemic to roll in the system that will make it possible for them to achieve that. Naomi Wolf has done a very good job of describing this, and she said, ‘Vaccine passports are the end of human liberty in the west.’

She’s right, because ultimately, what it’s going to evolve into is a financial transaction system where, if you don’t behave, the central banks can take money right out of your account. They can stop you from transacting.”

An example Fitts gives is, say the central bankers (read totalitarian rulers of the whole world) don’t want you to be able to travel. They want you to stay put where you are. They can easily accomplish this, in this planned system, by programming your electric car such that it cannot operate past that five-mile boundary line.

They will also have full control over the function of money in this system, meaning they can decide what you are allowed to spend your money on. They could decide they don’t want you to have fresh food, so you can only use the central bank digital currency for processed food.

We’ve Been Lured to Create Our Own Prison

The central bankers are nothing if not clever when it comes to prototyping. They don’t do anything without first running many tests to see what will work best. But they don’t just hire top experts. No, instead, they persuade the top developers that they can make a ton of money by developing these prototypes. They make it fun and innovative, allowing skilled people to come up with the ideas.

Once a successful prototype has been identified, they then build their own version of that. In the case of cryptocurrencies, their version is a central bank digital currency under centralized control. Another part of the complete system is the smart grid, which was prototyped, developed and rolled out in recent years. The smart grid is, of course, a requirement for the surveillance apparatus that is at the heart of it all.

While all of these things, cryptocurrencies, the smart grid, artificial intelligence technologies and the like, are marketed as a way to make us all freer, the intended result is a global prison system where no one is free. The good news here is that they must get the general population to build their own prisons. The answer then, is that once you see how it’s done, you can just stop. Stop building the prison walls. Stop building and contributing to the surveillance grid.

This could mean quitting your job if you work for a company that is involved in developing and building technologies intended for this control grid. But even if you don’t actually perform work that helps build it, you are still participating in the control grid structure by using surveillance tools like Facebook and Google.

By allowing smart meters to be installed in your home, by buying and using AI-based technologies and “smart” technologies, by allowing GPS tracking on your phone and so on. If you don’t want to contribute to building this global prison, you have to actually take action and change how and who you do business with.

“If you look at a lot of the financial fraud over the last 20 years in the United States, the leader of that financial fraud in many cases was JP Morgan Chase. Yet statistics show that 50% of Americans bank or have credit cards or other relationships with JP Morgan Chase.

In 1998, when I first realized what was happening with the mortgage fraud and JP Morgan Chase was at the heart of it, I was writing a check on a JP Morgan Chase banking account. And I said, ‘Why am I banking [with JP Morgan]? Why am I allowing my funds to be used as deposits to engineer financial fraud? I’ve got to come clean.’

Forget about protesting. If tomorrow, everybody woke up and said, ‘You know, I’m not going to bank with the New York fed member banks,’ the change would be dramatic, because if you look at where we’re banking and who we’re working for and who we’re associating with, we’re helping them do this.

Remember this is an all-digital system. One aspect of this is currency, but the other is a one-way mirror where you have 24/7 surveillance and data. So not only can I watch you 24/7 and collect data from your body, from your mind, from your activities, but then I can stop you from moving around spatially, or I can turn off your ability to transact.”

The Control System and Transaction System Are One

As noted by Fitts, the system being built is both a control system and a transaction system. The transaction system, however, is not based on what we consider a real currency. It’s actually the end of currencies, because in this system, you can never take the currency out of the bank and put it in your pocket. You can only conduct transactions that are validated and approved through and by the central bank.

Remember, the 24/7 surveillance system “can literally get the human race to be connected to the cloud, to the AI, the software and the robots,” Fitts says. “We’re talking about connecting the human race to a cloud where they teach the AI, the software and the robots, how to do their jobs.” In short, we are actively engineering a future where we, humans, have been largely eliminated from the workplace.

Those who remain will be integrated with robotics. “In other words, whether I have a human do that job, or whether I have a robot do that job, I can manage them in the same system if I can have them all hooked up to the cloud and communicating with each other.”

Basically, what we’re looking at is transhumanism, and we’re quite literally dehumanizing ourselves. This system will also do away with markets, because what we think of as markets will be micromanaged and optimized through artificial intelligence and software.

What Do You Want?

Knowing this, the options become rather simple. As noted by Fitts, we can have a human civilization, or we can have an inhuman civilization. We can have a financial system where private monopoly controls the printing of money, or we can have a decentralized system.

I agree with Fitts, who states that the world she wants to live in is where the financial printing press has been decentralized, and where we are committed to human civilization — not a transhumanist one run by technocrats. As crazy as this transhuman technocratic future may sound to the everyday person, it’s clear the technocrats believe their system can work.

“I think they believe it can work because of the one-way mirror,” Fitts says. “[Let’s say] you have a one-way year where you have 100% access to the data, 24/7, of all the people on this side of the mirror.

Remember, once you engineer all this secret money in taxation without representation, they [the people] can’t see behind the mirror. The thing that punches a hole in the mirror is transparency about government money, and no taxation without representation.”

Creating a Breakaway Civilization

This is why the central bank takeover of the sovereign governments is so important, because this takeover allows them to create a system in which the two sides of the mirror are two entirely separate civilizations. Those behind the mirror — you and I — cannot see what the technocrats are doing on the other side, while they can see every last thing we do and say. “You’re literally talking about a parallel universe,” Fitts says.

Those behind the mirror, the technocratic rulers, do not obey any law that applies to those of us on the other side of the mirror. They are not subject to the law. They have complete immunity from prosecution.

“They can engage in systematic violation of what you and I think of as the law, with impunity,” Fitts says. “And if you look at how much money has been moved out in the financial coup, they can literally become a parallel civilization.”

They’re Trying to Sell You on Being a Serf

 

 

The vaccine passport is clearly the tool of choice for the authoritarian globalists’ plan to deprive you and your family of your freedom and personal liberties. This financial coup is 20 years in the making. They voted on the “direct reset” plan (aka The Great Reset), they wrote the plan, and have been implementing that plan, year by year, step by step.

We’re now in the end game, Fitts says, where they need to consolidate everything. Now, with their vote for The Great Reset, the central bankers made the decision to put 500 million people out of work over the next year alone.

“That’s the equivalent of dropping several nuclear bombs around the world. That’s financial warfare, and they made it intentionally,” Fitts says. “They made it knowingly. It was a plan. And what is very important to understand, when you think about this pandemic, is people are not dying from magic viruses.

People are dying from tyranny, they’re dying from a great poisoning. That’s part of that tyranny, but our problem, and the thing we need to be afraid of, is tyranny. Because the tyranny needs, and is about to get much, much worse.

It’s the passports and that system of central bank digital control that will give them the ability to do that. The world economic forum calls it The Great Reset, which is kind of the marketing … The World Economic Forum guys make it interesting and fashionable [to say] ‘In 2030, you own nothing, and you’re happy.’

Now, what I hear is ‘It’s 2030, the direct reset has stolen all your money, taken all your assets, and they’ve got your mind-controlled.’ The Great Reset is to sell people on a vision of a world where the average person has a much smaller command on resources and assets, and is subject to complete central control.

Part of what you’re dealing with is that human beings crave coherence. And so, if you can put them in a state of incoherence, they will literally do anything they can to get back to coherence. It’s a torture mechanism. If you study torture, it’s a typical torture tactic …

That’s why you see all these people saying, ‘If you just accept the passports, you’ll be free. Or if you get the vaccination, you’ll be free. They have spent a fortune since World War II on figuring out how to use digital technology, telecommunications and media to implement mind control much more economically and much more broadly. And one of the things I think they’re very enthusiastic about how well it has worked.”

Watch the Financial Transactions

When will it stop working? When enough of us can see what they’re doing. For example, it’s important to realize that, during this pandemic, people have been bought out of the labor market with federal assistance that pays them more than they were making while working.

This strategy has severely impeded small businesses from getting the labor they need to keep going, and according to Fitts, this is all part of the plan to bankrupt all small businesses.

Of course, the next step will be to require the COVID jab for anyone who wants to collect unemployment or other financial assistance, as the vaccine passport is combined and integrated with the new all-digital central bank transaction system. Step by step, everyone is being herded into the new control system. But remember, we can stop it, because we’re doing it to ourselves.

The problem is, ending tyranny almost always requires some kind of sacrifice. End tyranny is rarely a comfortable or profitable venture. That said, there are countless ways to fight back.

Prayer War Room and Other Suggestions

Fitts tells the story of a woman fighting corruption in her hometown. She was scared because taking it to the next level would require her to go public, and she was a very private person. Fitts suggested she watch the film “War Room,” a Christian movie about prayer. “Start a war room and just fight them through prayer,” Fitts told her. Apparently, it worked wonders.

“So, there are many different ways to fight, and you could fight in a way that’s comfortable. Some people organize, some people are bringing lawsuits. Some people are lobbying. Some people are moving and going to another jurisdiction. Some people are pulling their money out of JP Morgan Chase.

There are many different ways to do it. If you’re working for a big bank or big corporation, start working on building the skills and the resources and the wherewithal you need to start something yourself. Start learning. It’s called DIY — do it yourself.

Start looking at your financial picture and figuring out … how you can collapse your income statement and your balance sheet to something which is much more resilient, locally, and doing it yourself.

We don’t need to get mortgaged up and get dependent on the system. The third thing is, for God’s sakes, go out and get yourself a great bank. Particularly if you’re in the United States, there are lots of great banks and great bankers … who also don’t want the central bankers controlling everything.

I know a lot of community bank presidents who don’t want to be controlled by the New York Fed … So, the first thing you need to do is swing your money out of — if you’re invested in the New York fed member banks, or in the big corporations that are running government this way — swing your money out of those stocks and start investing in building a local food system.

Who’s your farmer, who’s your rancher? Where are you going to get high-quality fresh food? There is tremendous opportunity to build out the local, fresh food systems. If you take the time and have patience, there are very good investments to be had there.

[Next, know] who’s your sheriff. The entire enforcement within a county area is controlled by the sheriff [in the U.S.], and in most counties, the sheriff is elected. Not all but most. The feds cannot come in and do an enforcement action unless the sheriff allows it to occur.

[Why should you] care about who your state legislators are? Because the state legislators have the power to say no to the federal government, particularly if you’re not willing to escrow your taxes and get into this taxation without representation.

So, go through your financial statement and your balance sheet and get the bad guys out of your money and start supporting the local guys who are willing to support the rule of law …

I had a former client who called me and said, ‘I just sold a house, and I want to know, should I put the money into real estate or precious metals?’ And I said, what’s the point of having assets? If you don’t have an army to protect them, meaning if you don’t have litigators, state legislators and sheriffs who are willing to go protect your assets, your assets are worthless; you’ll lose them.

So, she took the money and gave it to a group of litigators who were litigating some of what’s going on right now. Anytime you can make an investment that permanently reduces your expenses, you’re better off to do it yourself. So instead of paying your water bill, build a well. In other words, get your money out of financing the guys who are doing this to you, and get your money into financing yourself, your friends or people you know.

Trust me, if tyranny controls everything, and tyranny can operate above the law, then nothing’s going to work. This is a war. And if we don’t stand up and fight it, now, there will be no way to wiggle around this. There’s no way to outplay it. There’s no place to run. There’s no place to go. So, you’ve got to stand and fight back …

We have a choice. Everybody has a choice. So, stop building the prison, stop helping these guys and start creating friction. We don’t have to go along. And we’re the ones who are building the prison. So, you have to bring transparency to what’s going on, and then you have to take action.

We’re not all going to make it out of this process alive. It’s war. That’s what happens in a war, but human liberty is worth fighting for. We’re living in a world where there are two visions, and the top 1% have a vision of us as a natural resource, [while] we have a vision of us as individuals with sovereign rights that come to us by divine authority.”

As noted by Fitts, these are two extraordinarily different visions. One option is a society where all people have the ability to exercise our potential. In the other, only a few get to exercise their potential, while the rest have no opportunity at all. We’re in the end game. It’s all or nothing at this point. There’s no middle ground.

In the end, Fitts and I both believe the plan will fail, but ONLY if we all do our part to prevent it. What’s more, we also need to prepare for what comes after their plan fails. This too could be just as challenging. Fitts notes in conclusion:

“I tell people, while the Titanic is sinking, grab some planks and deck chairs and start building your ark, because these guys are going to make a huge mess. This is a mess. And if you look at what they’re trying to do, it’s very hard, it’s very complicated. I think it’s going to fail.”

Why has the whole world lost its mind?

Why are good intelligent people blindly following ridiculous mandates that don’t make any sense and why are they seemingly okay with people like you and I being punished if we don’t comply?

What are the conditions in any society that will cause a people to willingly sacrifice their freedoms?

Mattias Desmet has studied and lectured extensively on this phenomenon. He is a professor of clinical psychology at Ghent University has and holds a masters degree in statistics. After noticing some anomalies in the statistical analyses conducted during the pandemic, he became concerned by the consensus narrative. In this video he discusses his expertise in a phenomenon called ‘mass formation’, a type of collective hypnosis essential for the rise of totalitarian regimes. He provides the step by step formula for this collective psychosis to take hold and how this relates to our current situation. He cautions against the dangers of our current societal landscape and offers solutions both individually and collectively to prevent the willing sacrifice of our freedoms.

Why the world has gone crazy in a nutshell

Mattis Desmet noticed that when the shutdowns first started there were projected death statistics said to be the reason for why extreme measures needed to be taken. After a few months when those numbers were not lining up with what was actually happening, Mattias started to question why.

Why were politicians’, doctors and scientists continuing drastic lockdowns when the numbers weren’t justifying them?
Why weren’t other effects or collateral damage of the lockdowns, like destroyed economies, suicide rates in teens and damaging social isolation being considered as well? Nothing made sense from a logical or scientific perspective. That led Mattias to the psychological event that was causing this obvious lack of open-mindedness and rational thought.

The answer was a large-scale case of the psychological process known as mass formation. Mass formation is a form of mass hypnosis that arises in a population when certain criteria are met. Unless you’re under unconscious psychological control your mind is going to be blown.

The most important situation that needs to happen for this hypnosis to occur, is social isolation which then leads to a lack of a social bond.

Let’s first think about the rise of social media which inhibits real personal connection and shows only surfacy parts of our lives. We have an entire generation that is mainly using personal technology to connect with other people.

Now if one wanted to further isolate people from one another you could have them stay at home to slow the spread, shut down churches, bars, sports and other areas where people connect and turn two weeks of isolation into months and then years.

Add mass formation of those that are actually venturing out, removing the smiles and facial recognition needed to connect with others and you’ve just accomplished large-scale social isolation. Your first goal needed for mass hypnosis.

Secondly mass formation needs the population to feel like their lives are senseless or meaningless. There needs to be a void.

One poll taken found that 50 percent of people feel like their work life is purposeless. A Gallup poll found that 63 % of people in 143 countries feel like they sleepwalk through their workday feeling no connection with what they do and that what they do doesn’t matter to anyone.

Or imagine having a large part of society be told that their work isn’t essential and then being forced to stay home and not work at all. (Hairdressers, restaurants, fitness centers etc.) Don’t think that phrases like non-essential are not well thought out. They are designed to make you feel insignificant and meaningless. The second goal of obtaining mass hypnosis.

Thirdly. Mass formation requires that there be a lot of free-floating anxiety and psychological discontent meaning that the people don’t know exactly what is making them feel anxiety or discontentment, but the feelings are there. The World Health Organization (WHO) says that one in five people around the world have some kind of anxiety disorder

If you consider the constant onslaught of mass media fear-mongering and bad news, that would make sense. A constant but ambiguous state of anxiety or fear and discontentment accomplishes your third goal for mass hypnosis and gets you closer to control.

Finally, this type of societal brainwashing requires there to be free-floating frustration and aggression. Again, meaning that the feelings of frustration and aggression are present, but the causes are very general.

A world that seems to lack any real justice and the constant reporting of heroes being made out to be villains and villains being made out to be heroes would be a perfect way to frustrate a large amount of people. Blaming one group’s problems on another group’s so-called privilege would be a great way to spur on aggression. Perhaps that’s the reason we saw months of unjustified riots being allowed to take place that were broadcasted for all to see.

The reason we feel certain things can always be found out if people sit down and really think about what they’re feeling and why. If you distract people from thinking about deeper things, tell them their problems are other people’s fault or take their minds off tough emotional issues with mind-numbing shows and social media scrolls, they won’t bother to do the mental and emotional work to find out why they feel frustrated with their lives. Global injustice and mental distraction help bring in your final need to make people ready for mass hypnosis.

Now if you go back a while and think beyond the last two years, you’ll see how society has been primed for this situation to occur. Decades ago they took God out of the workplace, government and schools. Removing the personal accountability, higher purpose, and community that people have connected with for millennia. We were also programmed to become attached to things like facebook and online shopping that removed the chance for one-on-one connections and replaced them with instant gratification as well as instant discontentment.

We no longer had time to serve others in our community because we needed to get home and binge watch our favorite shows on instant streaming channels or work longer hours to pay for all our stuff. The strong traditional family led by a strong masculine man has been broken apart, demonized and cheaply imitated by movements and identities that glorify destructive lifestyles and victim mentalities.

So what happens when all four criteria of mass formation are met? Society is ripe for hypnosis through decades of programming and there’s a group of people that want to control the entire global population with a totalitarian agenda.

Enter the storyline

In mass formation, if a narrative or storyline of fear is introduced, say a global threat or a deadly sickness or an earth-altering climate crisis and that narrative gives them a pinpointed cause of their anxiety and frustration, well, you start getting their attention. Now give them a solution to that fear that they can be a part of, giving them a newfound purpose, social bond and human connection and the susceptible part of the population will now cling to the storyline with everything they have. No matter how unscientific, illogical, absurd or dangerous that narrative becomes. This is exactly why the world has seemed to lose its mind. They are literally hypnotized with the newfound purpose of saving the world and the connection it brings with those who are under the same spell.

The narrative we’re experiencing right now has been perfectly planned to meet the important basic human needs of connection, purpose and family, the very things that they have been systematically destroying for decades.

Their plan for decades has been to create a void in the human spirit and then fill it with their narratives and their false sense of belonging to accomplish their plans. They now have a new compliant army ready to do whatever it takes to defend their new family and their crisis solutions.

It’s a form of hypnotic mental intoxication and this is what we’ve been seeing being played out before our eyes. For that army it’s all about feeling like they belong to something bigger than themselves; a tribe with a purpose, the social bond of being part of the solution causes people’s brains to be so hyper focused on keeping that bond that they will not care when their freedom, health, logic, children’s well-being, businesses or whatever else is taken away.

That is how the mass hypnosis works as we’ve seen repeated throughout history. If mass formation continues in a society and becomes stronger over time, then eventually the hypnotized and their controllers will take over and form a new type of state or political system.

Totalitarianism

In a mass formation system there is always an object of fear, and that object always has to be destroyed. In this psychological process the person under hypnosis will even go so far as to let themselves be destroyed. The individual disappears and the collective becomes the dominant entity.

Let’s consider the current shot protocol so we can save the world from this current disease. Although its safety trial is still taking place, thousands have died and been disabled from it, it hasn’t been proven to stop transmission and is now ushering global discrimination in mass non-employment for those that won’t take it. A large majority of the world is still perfectly content to line up for more and praise anything associated with it.

How about the great reset and build back better, where everyone will give up their hard-earned private property and privacy so we can all be happy. What about black lives matter, where marxist leaders convinced a large part of the population and corporate businesses to be content with victimhood, destroy their own cities and to blame white people for all their problems.

It may all sound completely absurd and dangerous to you and I, but for someone under hypnosis who wants to be a part of the grand plan and solution, it’s everything.

Can we talk briefly about some rituals?

All the mask wearing, lockdowns, social distancing, shots, tearing down of statues, posting of black squares, rainbow flags.. All have the functioning of a ritual which actually strengthens the social bond. The bigger and more ridiculous the sacrifice and ritual, the stronger the bond – because it’s showing their commitment to the purpose and movement.

What looks like a joke or like something extreme to us, looks like commitment and a pledge of allegiance to them.

One dark path the hypnosis can take in today’s situation, which we’re already seeing happening is, that so-called anti-vaxxers and climate change deniers will become the object of fear and there will be a call to eliminate or subdue us.

All the free-floating discontent, fear and anxiety will be projected onto those that don’t go along with the narrative, which will lead to the masses committing heinous acts against those that do not comply. Again we have seen this many times in history.

One thing important to mention is that hypnosis doesn’t cause people to leave their ethical boundaries, meaning that just because they’re under hypnosis it doesn’t mean they’re going to do something they normally wouldn’t do. So there is no excuse for heinous or violent behavior.

Let’s talk numbers

When mass formation arises, only 13 to 20% are actually hypnotized.
40% percent are not, but they go along with the narrative because they feel it’s too uncomfortable or too dangerous not to.
20 to 30% are in opposition to the narrative, want to do something about it and speak out.

So, is there anything we can do to change the direction of the situation?

Yes.

  • One solution is if the 20 to 30% of the people that want to change the narrative and speak out, can convince most of the 40% of the compliant group to join them, then the mass formation is over. If the controllers can’t get the majority of the population to go along with the plan, then the plan doesn’t work.
    This is why they divide us in every way they can so we can’t come together, so we don’t listen to each other and so we can’t stop their plan.Speaking of plans – Have you heard the phrase «trust the plan»? It’s part of the Q narrative. Mass formation and hypnosis is not only directed at one side of the political spectrum. It’s an equal opportunity psychosis and some of us need to consider whether we’ve been sucked into a movement that has been designed to control our behavior.
  • Solution two is to continue to speak out.
    Hypnosis works through the voice. This is why our media is continuing their propaganda every single day.
    This is why they repeat the same storylines every day across different channels. Think of certain politicians repeating the same things over and over. The same can happen with dissenting voices against the narrative if we continue to speak out more and more then the hypnosis can be made much less preventing them from being willing to act out against us in extreme ways. This is why they censor and silence opposition. They know our voices are extremely powerful.

Along with that, make sure you keep meeting, living and socializing as normal.
Don’t let yourself or your network become isolated. Along with that, if things get dangerous use discernment to protect yourselves.
Also let your voices be audibly heard. Whether it be in a one-on-one conversation, in groups or on a social platform. Consider having a phone conversation with a friend instead of a text conversation or on social media consider doing audible videos in addition to or instead of written posts.
Next, have the tough conversations with those that are being compliant, even though they know what’s going on does it make sense.

Don’t participate in any of the ritual acts that strengthen their bond to the narrative.
Let your faces be seen, voices be heard and show the world that you are normal free and happy living against the narrative.

At the same time If this narrative and plan comes to full fruition, we will be fighting for our lives! So continue to prepare with wisdom. That means working on living in a parallel society and doing the things like becoming independent with food and water supply.

Most importantly: remember that the people that are under their psychological control didn’t get there because they’re weaker or stupid, but they got there because they’re broken. They were without purpose and a strong family bond.

The only question left is what are you gonna do about it?

Are you the passive 40%? Stop today and stand for truth. The powers that be don’t care about you they just want you to be their slave. Are you content with being like those that watch their fellow citizens be in prison and killed under Stalin and in Europe?
Do you think that somehow history will be different this time? Can your character be bought with the false promise of comfort?

We all have ways in which to cope with situations that are thrown at us each day. What works for me might not work for you or somebody else. And what has worked in the past, may not be enough in the present. BUT creativity seems to be a universal form of emotional self-care when we embrace it.

I “discovered” intuitive painting during my training as a Kinesiologist – although it was not really called that at the time. Once a year we went on an intensive weekend where we dove into all things that we had been learning during the year, plus the highlight was the daily painting to a theme of the chinese elements. I was totally blown away.

In the beginning, the paintings were child like and not very pretty to look at (more like WTH) – BUT there was always a meaning behind it. With time, they kept getting better –  in my opinion (and that’s all that counts), and I now have about 5 paintings that are framed and hanging up – and a plethora of others that want to be hung.

After many years of not “indulging ” in a selfcare habit, I was again introduced to it by my dear friend Angelika Neumann – and this sparked  a new “beginning” with the “arts“.  Yes, I know, lots of brackets and whatnot.. and if you read my sparse blogs, you will encounter that quite a bit..

During Covid 19 we started a whole series of free workshops to facilitate connection and community with art creation – or even just releasing emotions through art. It was fantastic! There was so much resonance and appreciation. Sooooo many signed up – and we had many wonderful sessions together.

Have you ever thought of exploring your creativity through art or painting? When exercising our creativity we allow ourselves an outlet from our daily routines, helping us express emotions and boost our happiness levels.

Maybe you’re thinking – No way, I’m not an artist and definitely not creative. Elizabeth Gilbert, says “if you’re alive, you’re a creative person”. What if you could just go with the flow and discover a new part of you, and find some space and time to create to let go of negative emotions, or develop a new self-care ritual for yourself?

Making art reduces stress and negative emotions, creating an experience similar to meditation. When in a meditative state, art draws our attention to details and the environment, which creates a distraction from day-to-day thoughts.

Art offers us the unique opportunity to become completely immersed in self-expression. In doing so, we are ready to calm our nervous systems and more easily access a mindfulness state.

When we engage in complex activities, the brain creates new connections between our brain cells and stimulates communication between the left and the right hemispheres of the brain. Consequently, a study done on the effects of visual art production showed an increase in psychological resilience, an individual’s ability to adapt to conditions and disadvantages.

Here are only a few benefits of creating art…

  • enhances problem-solving skills
  • self-awareness and expression

Remember, any kind of art activity is all about the process of creating and not the aesthetic of the finished product. It is only for our own benefit. You can be as abstract or as messy as you like – and very important, no critiquing allowed!

So, be brave. Try something new for a simple way to access your creativity, see a boost in your mood and/or maybe to change your perspective.

The coronavirus (COVID-19) arrived in Switzerland a couple of weeks ago. To protect employees, many companies request that they work from home if possible.

The majority of the companies was or is limited to home office – keyword infrastructures, processes, etc. Organizations of all sizes and sectors. They are therefore easily vulnerable targets for cyber criminals.

What is necessary for the health of employees can therefore pose a threat without the appropriate precautionary measures for the IT infrastructure, systems and information of the company.

But who wants a system lockdown in addition to corona lockdown?

Hackers and criminals are inspired by such tragic events and often try to profit from them. The following examples have shown this even in times of COVID-19:

  3. Company devices (desktop, laptop and cell phone) should not be made accessible to children or other family members (NDAs also apply in the home office!).
  4. Make sure your private Wi-Fi connection is secure. Most Wi-Fi connections are properly secured; however, older installations, in particular, can have vulnerabilities, which means that nearby people may be able to spy on the traffic.

Behavior in home office

  1. Activate the screen lock every time the device is exited.
  2. Do not send sensitive data unencrypted or unprotected via email.
  3. Do not send business information through private email accounts.
  4. Do not leave any information lying around in the home office, e.g. printed documents. Any data / information should be protected from family members.

Telephone / video conference from the home office

  1. Mute the microphone when not in use.
  2. Only use a headset, headphones or a smartphone to make calls. Do not use the loudspeaker in the laptop.
  3. Camera deactivated by default and, if possible, always covered. This not only conserves bandwidth, but also prevents sensitive information from being viewed.
  4. Do not leave the workplace during an active telephone / video conference.
  5. No conversations – no matter whether conference or telephone – have an open air (balcony / public).
  6. Be careful with screen sharing. Pay attention to what content you make visible to other participants.

Security awareness! Data protection also applies in the home office (data privacy).

  1. Particularly important at the moment: warn employees about the dangers of phishing, because various phishing emails are circulating in connection with the corona virus.
  2. Access data may not be shared.
  3. Devices of the employer are reserved for activities in the home office.
  4. Private surfing on the Internet or streaming music and films are prohibited. (Risk of malware infection and unnecessary waste of bandwidth)
  5. Malware infections must be reported to IT support immediately.
  6. Make sure virus protection is installed, enabled, and fully updated.
  7. Set a backup strategy and don’t forget the following: All important files should be backed up regularly. Imagine that you are the victim of a ransomware attack and all of your files are encrypted. Should you pay the ransom note or not? Without (offline) backup a difficult question.
  8. Make sure that you use a secure connection to your work environment, e.g. VPN or VDI with MFA.

INFORMATION FOR MANAGEMENT

Especially for employees who often work in the home office, the management has to be present from a distance. Of course, the same applies even more in exceptional situations such as the current corona virus. The following tips will help:

  1. 1. Communicate regularly with employees:
    a. About the status quo / news
    b. About the measures that are / have been taken
    c. About the proper handling of problems
    d. Inform about emergency procedures, opening times and reporting channels
  2. Clear the build of SECURE remote access solutions (Remote access solutions) an appropriate priority for home office. Employers should at least provide MFA and secure access (essentially encryption).
  3. Provide virtual solutions, e.g. the use of electronic signatures and virtual approval workflows to to ensure continuous functionality.
  4. Ensure adequate support in the event of problems. Special rotation / shift plans for the personnel may have to be drawn up for this.
  5. Define a clear procedure to be followed in a security incident.
  6. Consider limiting access to sensitive systems where this is reasonable and possible.

The BAG recommends that employees in the current situation avoid direct collaboration or the shared use of rooms. Social distancing is extremely important to slow the spread of the virus! Help protect your employees.

CORONAVIRUS – WHAT TO DO IF SUSPECTED?

The corona virus has already spread massively in many countries all over the world and many people are affected.

What can you do yourself to deal with this viral infection if symptoms appear?

This includes:
Runny nose
Sore throat
Cough
Fever
Shortness of breath
Difficulty breathing (severe cases)

Typical course of COVID-19

  • 5 days before the onset of the disease: After infection, primarily via droplet infection (smear infection rare), it takes about 5-6 days before the first symptoms appear, the range is currently 1-14 days.
  • Onset of illness: 88% of those affected develop a fever, if the illness is mild, the fever is rather low. With severe gradients it rises to over 39 degrees.
  • From day 1-3: dry cough (68%), body aches (17%), sore throat (16%), headache (16%), nausea / vomiting (4%), nasal congestion (4%), diarrhea (3% )
  • Day 4: 20% of those affected now experience shortness of breath
  • Day 4-8: If COVID-19 is difficult, you need to stay in hospital
  • Day 7: With a mild course, the symptoms subside. This is the case for 80% of patients outside of China.
  • Day 7-18: The virus can be detected in the upper respiratory tract. The longer the disease has progressed, the longer this is possible.
You can protect yourself and help prevent spreading the virus to others if you:
Do
  • Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds, with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or flexed elbow when you cough or sneeze
  • Avoid close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell
  • Stay home and self-isolate from others in the household if you feel unwell
Don’t
  • Touch your eyes, nose, or mouth if your hands are not clean

Recommended use of colloidal silver (10ppm) in acute cases:

Use intensively even with mild symptoms

  • Leave 20 sprays in the mouth for 2 minutes every hour or even every half hour. Is absorbed through the mucous membranes in the mouth.
  • Ideally, when spraying, breathe in through the mouth at the same time, then it also goes directly into the bronchi, bronchioles, lungs or respiratory system.
